The cameras in the FLIR SC7000 Series are highly adaptable and have excellent sensitivity, accuracy, speed, and spatial resolution. The SC7000 Series is especially made for integrators that require a very flexible camera at a reasonable price, as well as for R&D applications in academia and industry.

CHOICE OF DETECTOR

A variety of detectors from the FLIR SC7000 Series are available to meet every need for single or multispectral analysis. Mid-wave Indium Antimonide (InSb) and Mercury Cadmium Telluride (MCT) detectors are the options available to the researcher. There are other MCT detectors that function in the long-waveband. Standard equipment on the FLIR SC7000 series is a motorized, detachable 4-position filter wheel. This makes it possible to image occurrences in a specific region of the electromagnetic spectrum.

The 640 x 512 or 325 x 256 pixel formats of the SC7000 series include exceptional sensitivity and noise levels as low as 20 mK.

ULTRA HIGH FRAME RATE WITH WINDOWING

Windowing enables selective reading out of a portion of the entire image at a significantly higher frame rate with a user-adjustable window size. The camera control software makes it simple to configure the sub-sample window sizes and locations, allowing you complete freedom of choice. The FLIR SC7000 series may provide thermal images at up to 62,000 Hz, depending on the model and detector.

ADJUSTABLE INTEGRATION TIME & TRIGGERING

The integration time can be changed in increments of one nanosecond. The ability to synchronize image capturing with even the most brief events is made possible by the clever external triggering mechanism.
